Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about sourcing precision tools, electric tools, and brushless tools from Tooltrixx.

MOQ & Orders

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Our standard MOQ starts at 50 units per SKU for most product lines. For test or sample orders, we support smaller quantities to help you evaluate product quality before scaling. MOQ may vary depending on the product type and customization requirements -- contact us for a specific quote.
Can I place a mixed order combining different product types?
Yes. Tooltrixx sources from multiple qualified suppliers, which allows us to support mixed orders across product categories -- for example, combining precision screwdriver sets with electric tools or brushless tool kits in a single shipment. This flexibility is one of our key advantages for distributors and e-commerce sellers.
Do you support small test orders before bulk purchasing?
Absolutely. We encourage buyers to start with a trial order to verify quality, packaging, and product performance. Small test orders help reduce sourcing risk and build confidence before committing to larger volumes.

Lead Time

What is the standard lead time for regular orders?
Standard lead time for stock products is 7-15 business days after order confirmation and deposit receipt. For OEM/ODM or custom configuration orders, lead time is typically 20-35 business days depending on complexity and volume.
Can lead time be shortened for urgent orders?
In many cases, yes. If you have a tight deadline, please let us know at the time of inquiry. We will check current stock levels and supplier availability to assess whether expedited production is feasible. Rush orders may incur additional costs.
How will I be updated on my order progress?
We provide proactive order updates at key milestones: order confirmation, production start, quality inspection, and shipment. You will receive tracking information once the order is dispatched. Our team is available for direct communication throughout the process.

OEM / ODM Customization

What customization options are available?
We support a wide range of customization including:
  • Logo & branding -- printed, engraved, or labeled on product and packaging
  • Packaging design -- color box, blister pack, carry case, or retail-ready formats
  • Product configuration -- bit selection, kit composition, accessory combinations
  • Color & finish -- custom color options for tools and handles where applicable
What is the MOQ for OEM/ODM orders?
OEM/ODM MOQ typically starts at 200-500 units depending on the level of customization and product complexity. For private label packaging with standard products, the threshold can be lower. We evaluate each project individually -- share your requirements and we will advise on the most cost-effective approach.
Can you develop a completely new product design?
Yes, for ODM projects we work with our supplier network to develop products based on your specifications or reference samples. This includes product design, tooling, prototyping, and production. Please provide detailed requirements or a reference product so we can assess feasibility and provide a development timeline.

Shipping & Logistics

Which shipping methods and destinations do you support?
We ship globally, with regular deliveries to North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Available shipping options include:
  • Air freight -- for smaller or urgent shipments
  • Sea freight -- cost-effective for bulk orders (FCL/LCL)
  • Express courier -- DHL, FedEx, UPS for samples and small parcels
What trade terms (Incoterms) do you offer?
We support EXW, FOB, CIF, and DDP depending on buyer preference and destination. FOB (Shenzhen/Guangzhou) is our most common term for sea freight orders. DDP is available for buyers who prefer a fully landed cost with no customs hassle on their end.
Do you handle customs clearance and export documentation?
Yes. We prepare all standard export documents including commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, and certificate of origin. For specific destination requirements (e.g., CE, FCC declarations), please inform us in advance so we can ensure compliance documentation is in order.

Payment Terms

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept the following payment methods:
  • T/T (Bank Transfer) -- most common for B2B orders
  • PayPal -- available for samples and small orders
  • Letter of Credit (L/C) -- available for large volume orders
  • Western Union / Wise -- for smaller transactions
What are the standard payment terms for bulk orders?
Standard terms are 30% deposit upon order confirmation, with the remaining 70% paid before shipment. For long-term partners with an established track record, we may offer more flexible arrangements. All terms are confirmed in the proforma invoice before production begins.
Are sample fees refundable?
Sample fees are typically charged to cover product and shipping costs. If you proceed to a bulk order, sample fees can be deducted from the final order amount. Please confirm this arrangement with your account manager at the time of sample request.

Quality & Inspection

How do you ensure product quality before shipment?
Our QC process includes supplier qualification, incoming product inspection, specification verification, and functional checks for electric and brushless tools. A final pre-shipment inspection is conducted to confirm product condition, quantity, and packaging before dispatch.
Can I request a third-party inspection?
Yes. We welcome third-party inspections by agencies such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, or any agency of your choice. Please arrange and notify us in advance so we can coordinate access and scheduling. Additional inspection costs are typically borne by the buyer.
What happens if I receive defective products?
If any quality issue is confirmed, please contact us promptly with photos, videos, and order details. We will review the case and provide a practical solution, which may include replacement parts, compensation, or corrective action depending on the situation and agreed terms.
